How to introduce a new way of using mobile phones? KPN, Hollands biggest telecom operator, faced just that with the introduction of i-Mode.
They turned to Studio Dumbar for branding and an extensive promotional campaign to introduce i-Mode. The main focus of the campaign was an online experience, featuring different i-Mode functions. This online experience became the core element of the brand. Introducing the web as a foundation for a brand and as a promotional platform was something new for KPN at that time
The website is an engaging experience with 3 interactive stories, highlighting the impact i-Mode can have in every day life and how communication between people on the move can occur. The production of the site involved various on location photo-shoots, sound design and extensive post production.
