Design.nl is an online magazine / portal with design news from the Netherlands. The main function is to keep people informed and promote Dutch design abroad.

While creating the branding for Design.nl we had to keep in mind that the main communication channel would be web. This added an extra dimension to the branding process. The resulting identity is a clear clean structure with playful brand elements and an iconic logo. Content editors are allowed the freedom to use the brand elements in a free way only restricted by what is technically possible.

In 2006 the year the Design.nl went live the site won a prestigious Red Dot Award for high-quality international design.
