2009 Brought a new challenge with joining Iris Nation, a global 360 advertising agency where I will be responsible for the global digital Shell account…

Iris developed a global platform for Shell to showcase new products, tools and tips how to save money and fuel. The platform will be rolled out globally as ‘Get the most out of Everydrop’. At the heart of the Every drop hub lies the opportunity for Shell  to be culturally relevant in each individual market.

An example of activating the hub to a local market was the Shell Fuelsave training which was done for 7 of the 24 markets. Local Shell ambassadors encouraged visitors to do a online training. When finished correctly the visitor would be rewarded with air-miles, fuel voucher or loyalty points. A goal was set to get 100.000 people to take the training. On the day of launch 45.000 people took part and the 100.000 goal was broken in an astonishing 6 days.

In 2009 the everydop hub will be launched within all 24 markets. Besides the hub Iris is responsible for promotional campaigns within each local market and work together with Pr and media agencies to make each launch a success. 2010 will be the year where the hub will be brought to life for the markets with local events and promotions…
